Hello. I am Kim Byoung-ook, Chief Director of Mokpo Shinsegae Hospital.

Mokpo Shinsegae Hospital, which opened its doors in 2023 with the single-minded goal of providing high-quality medical services to our local community, has already reached its 3rd anniversary. Though it has been a relatively short time, thanks to the patients who have trusted and visited us, we have earned the overwhelming reputation as a "hospital that excels in spine and joint surgery."

I am a neurosurgeon who has researched and performed surgeries for spinal diseases in Mokpo for over 17 years. Knowing the local medical landscape better than anyone, I wanted to create an environment where patients in our region could receive world-class surgical care without having to travel all the way to the Seoul metropolitan area.

Today, we take pride in possessing the highest level of expertise in spine and joint surgery within the region. However, we will not settle for the title of "the best." Through relentless academic pursuits and the advancement of endoscopic surgical techniques, we will devote ourselves to researching and introducing cutting-edge medical technologies, ensuring you can always say with confidence, "As expected, it's Mokpo Shinsegae Hospital."
